Tell us what you are trying to film.

Playhead is a young tool with sharp edges, and the fastest way for it to get better is to hear about the app it could not film. Bug reports that include the spec and the failing check get answered first.

Before you write

Two of these answer most questions faster than we can:

FAQ & troubleshooting — locators that will not resolve, checks that fail, missing ffmpeg or fonts.
playhead doctor — reports ffmpeg, the browser, fonts, narration providers and signing prerequisites in one pass.

Report a bug

Include the spec and verify/verdict.json — those two files usually pinpoint it.

Use the form on this page, or email hello@playheadhq.com.

What we never receive

Playhead runs entirely on your machine. Frames, event logs and narration audio are written to your disk and are never uploaded — including with --vision, which reviews the contact sheet through a local Ollama model. Nothing on this form is collected beyond what you type into it.
